Eligibility Requirements |
|
| - Applicants should meet the following three requirements.
|
|
Nationality Requirement |
| ¡¤ |
Both applicants and applicant's parents should be non-Korean since |
| |
at least the beginning of the applicants' elementary school education. |
| |
(Dual citizenship with Korea is not allowed.) |
|
Education Requirement |
First-Year Students |
| ¡¤ |
Applicants should have completed 12-year (or more) |
| |
primary and secondary education outside of Korea |
| |
or in international schools. |
|
Transfer Students |
| ¡¤ |
Applicants should have completed primary and |
| |
secondary education and have received at least |
| |
two years of university education at a four-year |
| |
university outside of Korea. |
|
Language
Proficiency
Requirement |

Applicants (except for applicants in International Studies) should |
| |
have a 4th level certificate from the Korean proficiency test (TOPIK) |
| |
or, have completed (or expected to complete) level 4 |
| |
or higher of Korean curriculum at Korean language institutes whose |
| |
curriculum are approved by admissions office of Korea University. |

Applicants should hold English proficiency test scores of the TOEFL |
| |
CBT of 213 points, PBT 550, IBT 80, TEPS 557, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 685 or higher. |
| ¡¤ |
Applicants whose first language is Korean are exempted from demonstrating |
| |
proficiency in that language. Native speakers of English are not required |
| |
to demonstrate proficiency in English. |

|
| ¡Ø There are separate requirements for applicants from the institutes which
|
| have an affiliation agreement with Korea University. |

Admission will be canceled if a student who has been granted admission, |

All documents should be in English or Korean. Documents in another |
| |
language should be accompanied by a notarized English or Korean |
| |
translation. |

Applications should be accompanied by supporting documents. |

Application fee and submitted documents will not be returned |

to the applicants. |
